1 Day: Coca-Shiripuno river- Naoeno Huaorani village

Travel by private bus to Shiripuno River 3 hours south of Coca. Eat lunch on arrival. Travel for roughly 1 hours by canoe on Shiripuno river. Then will walk 2 hours in primary forest, the huaorani guides show us about medical plants, their uses and traditional cultivations, will arrive and visit the Huaorani Village called Naoeno, Camp in tents on the beach of the river. Dinner.

2 Day: Shiripuno river-Cononaco river

After breakfast, row down the Shiripuno river excellent possibilities to see birds like hoatzins, oropendolas, caciques, kingfishers and monkeys . Lunch. In the afternoon will arrive to Cononaco river. Fishing for piranhas. Camp. Dinner. Search for alligators at night.

3- 4 Days: Cononaco river-Omaye Huaorani family

Early birdwatching.- Breakfast.- Visit a "saladero" this is a special land where birds an animals eat salts and minerals. Navigation without motor, listen the jungle sounds, excellent possibilities to see all jungle animals. Lunch. In the afternoon will continue navigating on the Cononaco river until to the Omaye Huao family. Dinner and camping in their house. Story of Huaorani indigenous history and groups of not contact.

5 Day: Omaye Huaorani family

Breakfast. Very interesting walk with hunter huao Omaye he shows the jungle secrets and hunter techniques. In the afternoon fishing for piranhas.

Camping and dinner. Night walk to see ants, spiders, frogs.

6-7 Days : Cononaco river- Baumeno Huaorani village

After breakfast will navigate 3 hours more until the huaorani village of Baumeno , located in the shore line of Cononaco river. Lunch.- Walk with Kempery - Minihue, Ahua, their explain us of the different species, flora, fauna, useful plants by the indigenous Huaorani. Cultural dance with Huaorani woman's. Camp and dinner on the beach.

8-9-10-11 Days : Baumeno-Guinta-Yarentaro-Dicaro-Yasuní river

Breakfast. We begin our 4 days trekking in direction to Nasinho and Yasuní rivers, during our walk will have the possibility to see the real jungle, feel the interrelation humans-nature. In the middle of the rainforest will find the last Huaorani shaman called Mengatoe, also will visit the Huaorani villages of Guinta, Yarentaro and Dicaro they live in the heart of the forest with their typical traditions. In Dicaro village will visit to Inihua and Pahua adoptive parents of monsignor Alejandro Labaca(+)killed by the Tagaeri(not contact group), in 1987.

12-13-14 Days : Yasuní Park - Kawimeno- N. Rocafuerte

Early birdwatching. Will continue navigating down on the Yasuní river. Will visit the Kawimeno Huaorani village and their historic cheep called Cai. Will help in the daily activities of this people, harvesting bananas and yucca and making the traditional drink called chicha. Paddling in small canoes will navigate on the Garzacocha lagoon, there will know the flooted forest.

15-. Breakfast. Retorn by motor canoe navigating upper Napo river to Coca.

*The length of the trip depends on how much of the jungle you wish to explore. The longer trips go further down the river and deeper into the jungle or in other areas in the Huaorani Territory and Yasuní National Park . In trips for 25 days we visit the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve.
